i have not found a time until now to tell you how much i have appreciated your several statements on the oneness of faith. Hinduism has many such statements particularly coming out of the vedanta movement with is roots with Ramakrishna and then Vivekananda. It was fun to go to the blog and find your daily postings.

And today your ultimate statement of oneness:"Judy O Grady and the Captain's Lady... Are Sisters under the skin"

I enjoyed posting the image of the Michelangelo Pieta which I had written on when I was in college and then did not see in person until Angela's and my trip to Italy. I love the hovering figure of Nicodemus which I think is a Michelangelo self portrait.

The Inter Faith work that you have connected us to at Innisfada engenders different responses. Some say the Buddhism on its own terms is enough of a challenge but I appreciate the connections; the ways in which the different ways reach towards the mysteries. And in turn my roots in christian practice are still so very much with me.

I found myself feeling a place for prayer for the first time in a while.

Some of this typed one handed as I have a sleeping baby at my knee and a cat in my lap.

Looking at her, I think if I could have one minute of the sleep that Mara sleeps, I would wake a new man.
